World Meeting of Families

The Catholic Archdiocese of Philadelphia will welcome a world wide gathering of people of the Catholic faith and other faiths for an in-depth look at “the family as God ordained it”. It will be an excellent opportunity for everyone to consider the great gift to mankind that God has offered in the family experience. The gathering will take place next September 21-27, 2015 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center.  Our Holy Father, Pope Francis, who might be able to join us for the final day, has pleaded, “It is very important to reaffirm the family which remains the essential cell of society.” (World Youth Day, 2013) More details will follow here and on the Archdiocesan web site.
